Our first-ever vendor booth, and we filled it with

Our first-ever vendor booth, and we filled it with polaroids of your pugs! 🐾

When @hamiltonpugs invited us to pop up at their 4th annual Pug-o-Ween, we were thrilled. We’ve wanted to meet all of you for a long time, and we wanted to do something special. (Not gonna lie, having an excuse to photograph pugs, puggles and chugs in costume was also hugely appealing.)

Turns out speedy, wiggly pugs are hard to photograph for first-timers, but we loved every minute. Swipe through our snaps and tag yourself if you spot your pug!

Humphrey, Jellybean, Ludo, Beanie, Kirby and Skittles, we still have your polaroids! DM us and we can mail them to you or get them to you at a future pug meetup.

Thank you @hamiltonpugs for having us, for the most amazing room full of costumed pugs, and for nurturing such a friendly, welcoming community in Hamilton. And a shoutout to @terraathome for hosting, and to our friends @thepawlab.ca for making sure the pups had plenty of gorgeous treats to choose from (including sweet potato ghost cookies and mini edible pumpkins)!

Would you want a photo wall at our next event? Tell us in the comments!

Cool, comfortable, crisp days, apples and pumpkins

Cool, comfortable, crisp days, apples and pumpkins, Halloween on the way - it's not a surprise that this is the start of the busy season for dog-friendly events.

I've truly never seen so many happening in Hamilton and a short drive away, all at once - we've got 20 in this guide, making it our biggest one yet!

Enjoy, shout if we missed anything, and tag us to let us know what you get up to - we'll share it with the pack!

One final round of applause for the pups, dog love

One final round of applause for the pups, dog lovers, small businesses, and volunteers of Hamilton who helped make the first-ever Puppy Dog Picnic a success! 🐾

At Dog-Friendly Hamilton, everything we do is an experiment as we work towards a city that's friendlier for pets, their humans, and the businesses who love them - and we know there's plenty we could improve for next time.

So we want to hear from you: Did you attend? What did you think? What could have been better? Should we do it again next year? What would you like to see? Share your thoughts via the link in our bio.
